Is Loki really dead?

Avengers: Infinity War was filled with countless deaths, all of which are being speculated upon. The heroes that died in connection with Thanos' snap, including Spider-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, and Winter Soldier, will obviously return. It's the heroes that died prior to the snap that fans believe may be gone for good. That includes Gamora, Heimdall, and Loki. Keen-eyed fans noticed that Loki may have tricked Thanos into thinking he was dead, although the Mad Titan blatantly states that the Trickster god was dead for good. Still, Marvel fans came up with a theory that pointed to that fact that Loki is right-handed. The only time he wielded his blade in his left hand was when he faked his death in Thor: The Dark Worldm and when Thanos kills him.

Loki actor Tom Hiddleston has heard of these fan theories, and finally took a minute to respond to the speculation. As reported by Comicbook.com, Hiddleston touched on Loki's survival while at ACE Comic-Con this past weekend. “Listen... I’ve heard some amazing theories about this. I was in a park in London a couple of weeks ago, and some guys came and said hi, and they asked me the same question,” started Hiddleston. “They said, ‘Hey, listen, we need an answer to this question. All the other times Loki’s died’ — there’s been a few — ‘he stabs with his right hand. And now he’s stabbing with his left hand.’ I was like, ‘That’s incredible attention to detail.’”

After Hiddleston admitted that he had not noticed Loki's switch of hands, he stated, “Your guess is as good as mine.” We're sure Loki will be back, since a recent leak has him included in the speculated Avengers 4 trailer.
