Nike officially unveiled Jordan Brand's Fall 2018 collection today, which included an upcoming "International Flight" Pack that will consist of an Air Jordan 3, an Air Jordan 5 and an Air Jordan 12. Each of the sneakers draw on inspiration from charity and exhibition games that Michael Jordan starred in during his career.
The Air Jordan 3 "International Flight" is inspired by Jordan’s performance in Magic Johnson's 1998 Midsummer Night’s Magic Charity Game. The kicks sport a patriotic color scheme, complete with a "sail" tumbled leather upper, accompanied by hits of red and blue. Additionally, the "Charity Game" 3s feature a starry graphic print on the inner lining and a grey tongue, sporting Michael Jordan's signature, to match the elephant print.
The Air Jordan 5s are built on a cream, blue and orange colorway, reminiscent of the uniform MJ wore in an exhibition game in Barcelona in 1990. The 12s represent Jordan’s trip to Tokyo in 1996, where he hosted a basketball clinic and participated in a friendly showcase with other NBA superstars.
The "International Flight" Air Jordan 3s will reportedly release first on June 30th, followed by the 5s on August 4th and the 12s on September 8th. Each of the kicks will retail for $190.
