UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell won't be in action any time soon after he suffered a nasty groin injury involving a power drill. In short, he ripped open his scrotum while doing some construction work.
Mitchell, who is 10-0 in his MMA career, detailed the experience on social media and seemed to be in good spirits despite the nature of his injury. The post reads:
"so I was gunna train today but I ripped my nutsack in half. Im bout to get stitched up. I was holdn a board over my head with a drill n my pants. I was sizin up the board n the drill went off n tangled my nuts up n it. I dropped the board and reversed the drill and untangled my nutsack but they was ripped n half. Im serious too lol. I obviously can't post a pic. But wen my nuts r seald back up ima come train again. I think a high kick would re rip them haha. And if I hear any shitty puns bout how this whole this is nutty or screwed up I aint talked to you for bout a month. If ure gunna drop a pun to make fun of me at least put some thot into it lol."
As if the details weren't graphic enough in word form, Mitchell also provided an image of his boxers and it's just as nasty as you'd expect after his scrotum got corkscrewed in a drill bit.
Mitchell, 23, made his UFC debut in July with a win against Tyler Diamond at The Ultimate Fighter Season 27 finale. His next fight had not yet been announced but it's perfectly clear it'll be some time before he's delivering any high kicks in the octagon.
