Lloyd has been off the map for quite some time. The R&B crooner was M.I.A. until he dropped off "Caramel," the first single off his long-awaited Tru LP, last month. The easy riding single was received warmly, but it was Lloyd's naked album cover that had fans talking. Lloyd opted to bare it all on the cover of his Tru EP a few years back, so it makes sense that he stuck with the same idea for the full-length album.
Lloyd took to Instagram on Tuesday (Aug. 21), to reveal the tracklist for his upcoming album. "Dear God, With a considerable amount of consideration for myself, my loved ones, each person in this beautiful world, and this Amazing gift of music and song that you have given to me, I offer this collection of my most thoughtful and love-inspired music of my humbling life," wrote the singer on the post. "As I walk the path of humility, and may you open up the hearts, eyes, and ears of others who have yet to embrace your love as you have done with me. I am so thankful."
Tru will feature 11 songs, and Lil Wayne, Curren$y, Rick Ross, and Sevyn Streeter are among the artists featured on the project. Tru is slated to drop on August 31.
