In the next two weeks, we'll hopefully be listening to the next batch of dope albums after 2019 started off a little slowly. We've gotten full-length efforts from Boogie, Offset, Gunna, and others so far this year and tomorrow looks set to be another exciting day for hip-hop fans. As we step forward into March, 2 Chainz is finally releasing his new album Rap Or Go To The League and the week after, Juice WRLD is dropping his sophomore album A Deathrace For Love. We've already heard "Robbery" from the young Chicago artist and now, he's released the second hint of what we can expect come March 8.
Available now in select international markets, "Hear Me Calling" is the second official single from Juice WRLD's upcoming project. The track sees Juice exploring a different vibe. While his lyrical content remains relatively unscathed with mentions of heartbreak all over the place, the beat is much different than anything else we've heard him rhyme over.
Along with the new song, Juice WRLD also unveiled the cover art for Deathrace, which is incredibly nostalgic. The artwork mirrors a retro PlayStation 1 video game, going back a few generations to pull out some pretty epic art. Are you looking forward to the upcoming project?
Quotable Lyrics:
Breakaway, make away to make it
Love the way you lookin' when you naked
Treat your heart just like a blunt, I hold you
Roll it up, I kissed it and I smoke you
Gots to be joking
Where in the fuck did you think you were going?
Foldin' and packin' your clothes like you ain't know I was gon' unfold it
