Ever since Tiffany Haddish popped up on the scene debuting her talents in the comedy Girls Trip, there's been so signs of her slowing down or making her exit from Hollywood. She went on to land herself a Groupon spokeswoman deal, partied with Beyonce and lived to tell the tale before an NDA was released, received a car as a gift from Tyle Perry, and has continued to land roles in a number of upcoming flicks.
One of her latest show offs is the newly announce comedy stand-up special that she has signed on to do for streaming giant, Netflix. “Tiffany Haddish is a force,” Vice President of Original Documentary and Comedy at Netflix, Lisa Nishimura, said. “Hilariously funny, brash and self-effacing, she’s an incredible artist who is winning over audiences while breaking barriers, and we are tremendously proud that she will showcase her formidable talent on Netflix.”
The hourlong special will tape early next year and have a later release in 2019. There's been no word on subject Tiffany will focus on, but considering that Netflix has already inked deals with comedians such as Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, Chris Rock and Kevin James, there's a variety of angles each comedian can take.
