"Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul" will continue to overlap.

Breaking Bad went down as an important piece of historical pop culture when it ended in 2013. The show's creator, Vince Gilligan decided to create a spinoff based on one of Breaking Bad's main characters, Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill. Since the first season of the spinoff, entitled Better Call Saul, premiered in 2015, it has incorporated many of the characters from Breaking Bad into its plot. Now, Gilligan is stating that the new season will feature a very popular character from the Walter White led series.

Bryan Cranston said that he would be excited to return as Walter White for a cameo in Better Call Saul, so fans are speculating that they might see him in the upcoming season of Better Call Saul. Gilligan was tight-lipped on who might be returning to the series. According to The Wrap, at the AMC Summit Wednesday in New York City, Gilligan stated, “There’s a very important character from the ‘Breaking Bad’ era that we’re going to meet this year."

“Season 4 is so good,” he continued. “It gets darker, it gets richer. It’s still got funny in it, but on the Venn diagram of ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Better Call Saul,’ the overlap in the center is getting bigger and bigger.” Better Call Saul season 4 premieres on August 6 at 9 EST on AMC.
