Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver Tyreek Hill found the endzone on three separate occasions during last night's shootout against the New England Patriots, the last of which resulted in a face-to-face encounter with multiple Pats fans.
With a little over three minutes remaining in the third, Patrick Mahomes linked up with Hill for a 75-yard TD to tie the game at 40-40. After the speedster burned the Pats' secondary for the third time, he reached the back of the end zone where he was greeted with multiple middle fingers and a beer shower - as shown in the video embedded below.
Hill finished with seven catches for 142 yards and three touchdowns but the KC defense simply didn't have any answers for Brady and the Pats.
Following Hill's 75-yard TD to tie the game, the New England offense strung together a seven-play, 65-yard drive on the ensuing series, which concluded with a 28-yard field goal off the foot of Stephen Gostkowski to secure the 43-40 victory. It marked Kansas City's first loss of the season, while the Patriots have now climbed to 4-2.
"That was a great job by our players and coaching staff. Just battling for 60 minutes. We talked about that all week," Belichick said. "In the end, we were able to just do a little bit more, do enough. I'm really proud of the way we competed all the way through -- from the opening kickoff to the final kick. It's a great effort. I thought we went out and played hard. I think we deserved it."
