J.I.D shows his versatility on Mereba's new song.

With J.I.D still just beginning to blow up, the Dreamville citizen is beginning to show off specks of outstanding versatility through efforts like this one. Sure, J.I.D can spit but he's also generally just a musical person, preferring to sing sometimes. He get to hear a new side of him on Mereba's new song "Sandstorm," which has just been released ahead of her upcoming project's drop.

The Jungle Is The Only Way Out will come out in a matter of days but before then, Mereba and J.I.D are crooning together in a beautiful duet. This is a version of J.I.D that we can live with seeing a little more often. It also opens up a world of dream collaborations that we want to happen. Artists like Noname, Kali Uchis, and others all come to mind. What do you think of this new track?

Quotable Lyrics:

What if I told you
I miss the old you, baby
I used to hold you tight, a ride or die for life
But I couldn't mold you
'Cause I didn't own you, baby
But I'm on my own two now, I've grown to know
A lotta shit that I didn't before
