Rolling Loud is bringing the world's biggest hip-hop festival to Australia.

At this point, there's one premier festival destination for hip-hop fans around the world and it's Rolling Loud. I've been to the Miami event twice and it's been amazing both times. Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif have truly worked their asses off to bring the best performers together for their shows in Miami, Los Angeles, the Bay Area, and more. With plans to expand around the rest of the world, the machine has officially begun as the Rolling Loud organizers have announced a move to Australia.

It's easy to joke that about half the line-up won't be allowed into the country. Australia has an infamously strict border control and artists like Lil Uzi Vert have had to cancel their Aussie shows in the past. The event will be taking place on January 27 in Sydney and although a line-up has not yet been announced, the promo video shows Uzi diving into the crowd from Miami in 2018. Again, he's had trouble performing in the country before but he did spend time there earlier in the year.

Australia will be the latest mission for Cherif and Zingler as they've already tackled Miami, L.A., and Oakland. With the fifth anniversary of the Miami show coming up, they're bound to pull out all the stops for the upcoming May festival. Are you making your way out to Sydney for Rolling Loud in January?
