Demi's 2018 is ending on a strong note.

Demi Lovato's 2018 got real turbulent in the summer when she was rushed to the hospital after a drug overdose. The event forced her to check into rehab once she left the hospital and her post-overdose life has been looking promising with her in good spirits. The recent rollout of Grammy nominations has made Demi even happier since she has been nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her collaborative track with Christina Aguilera, "Fall In Line."

"Woke up filled with hope. Dreams come true y’all... thank you @xtina. I love you so much," Demi wrote on Twitter, adding on Instagram: "What a dream come true. Can't believe I'm nominated for a GRAMMY with someone I grew up singing to.. my idol forever. Love you sis, thank you."

Demi has stayed pretty quiet about her drug overdose with just her mother and sister speaking on her behalf, but last month she had to fire back at a fan page for its ridiculous comments. A fan shared on social media that Demi's move of firing her dancer Dani Vitale was "completely unfair"  but Demi had her reasons.

"You have no idea what you're talking about," Demi responded. "True friends don't do interviews about you when you OD."
