We could tell.

On Monday night, Cardi B opened up the VMA's with a funny and slightly awkward monologue while carrying a blanket in her arms that many thought was baby Kulture. Apparently, Cardi B didn't give Offset the memo and he too was fooled by Cardi B's prank.

While Cardi B ultimately revealed the blanket in her hand carried a moonman, she said that Offset wasn't too happy at first.

"Why Set said i was sooo mad, when i saw you on stage with that blanket I thought you was going to show Kulture," she wrote on Twitter with crying and laughing emojis.

This isn't shocking in the least. The best part about award shows are the candid reactions from celebrities and both Offset and Quavo, who were seated next to each other, looked completely shocked by what they thought was going down. They ultimately served up one of the most meme-worthy moments of the evening.

Cardi B gave birth to her and Offset's first child together, Kulture in July. At this point, they've opted to keeping K out of the public eye although they've reported received some offers in the $100K range for the first shots of their child. Despite being about their bag, they clearly value their privacy and the privacy of their child even more.
