Le'Veon Bell is reportedly prepared to sit out the entire 2018-19 NFL season and will therefore not be reporting to the Pittsburgh Steelers before Tuesday's 4pm deadline. Despite saying farewell to Miami and making appearances in Pittsburgh, ESPN's Adam Schefter has reported that Bell is unwilling to sign his $14.5 million franchise tag tender.
With that, Bell will fulfill his goal of reaching 2019 free agency fully healthy. And he has also proved that he doesn't truly love the sport, according to 2013 Le'Veon Bell. A couple of his old tweets from years ago recently resurfaced and, as the popular saying goes, they haven't aged well. One tweet which has garnered a ton of hilarious responses reads:
"If youu could sit out a year of a sport youu play and your not injured or somethin else is preventing youu to play, then youu don't love it!"
Another of Bell's tweets from 2012 states: "If youu play this game for money and/or fame then your playin for the wrong reason...I love this game first, then everything else!"

As for the Steelers, they're getting along just fine with the 26-year old Pro Bowler thanks to second-year running back James Conner who has absolutely thrived in the starting role. In nine games this season, Conner has 11 total touchdowns, ranks third in rushing yards with 771 and is second in yards from scrimmage with 1,158.
The Steelers, coming off a 52-21 beat down against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night, have now won five straight games and are sitting atop the AFC North with a 6-2-1 record.
