It has been months since any new developments have come about between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp. The former couple is currently involved in a legal battle after Amber accused her ex-husband of physically abusing her. Their relationship was incredibly toxic and details have been shared by Heard about what happened within their household. According to a new 471-page deposition obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, Amber and Johnny actually have a nickname for Depp's alter-ego, which comes out when he gets violent.
"Johnny and I refer to his other personality, the part of him that is present when he beats me up — we call that the monster and have called [that] the monster for many years," recounted Heard during a deposition taken as they were getting divorced. She added, "I was petrified of the monster." Amber has previously been pictured showing bruises on her face from when her ex-husband would beat her. The extensive documents detail even more of the disgusting things that happened during their marriage. Heard reportedly speaks about a time when Depp threw a phone at her and pulled her hair as she tried to escape his grip.
According to THR, the deposition will be used in Depp's defamation lawsuit against The Sun, who referred to him as a "wife-beater" in one of their articles.
