Kxng Crooked has been blessing fans with a ton of new music this year in support of his weekly Hip Hop series, and thankfully he doesn't look to be slowing down either. For his 7th installment of his series, the Detroit emcee decides to release a new song called “Bar’d Up,” which is a flip on Naughty By Nature’s “Uptown Anthem.”

Following up his latest release “Get It Easy,” take a listen to the lyrical assault and let us know what you think. Look for more from the Slaughterhouse rapper to be on the way. Stay tuned.

Quotable Lyrics:

You could smoke a spliff on a cliff, but ain't no mountain high enough
Or wide enough to try to touch
The author calling' writers bluff
I really don't think you write enough
And them ghostwritten verses you purchase you couldn't buy enough
To quiet me, I'm fired to fuck up now, uptown
