West coast rapper Jag has been putting in work on his upcoming Loren Miller project, and today he comes through with a new single called "Stressin." Teaming up with fellow "sensitive thugs" Boogie and Nick Grant, the pair add an added perspective to the song's honest vibe. Grant sets it off in the first verse, painting a bleak picture of the modern-day path to fame. It's a theme we've seen with increasing frequency, and Grant's pen game brings the struggle to life with sharp imagery.
Jag follows suit, spitting some harsh realities. "When you broke, the labels they treat you like you a con," he raps, "till you got a chain and n***as will treat you like you LeBron." Boogie is up next, following his stellar Everything's For Sale with another impressive performance. "Simple, is this your temple for rent?" he asks, "physically fit but mentally bent." Check out the single now, and keep an eye out for Loren Miller dropping Feb 27th.
Quotable Lyrics
Simple, is this your temple for rent?
Physically fit but mentally bent
Takin this sentence, industry shit
How the fuck they tell you go leave your prints, your signature lent?
