The Los Angeles Rams' fears were confirmed today as an MRI reportedly revealed that star wide receiver Cooper Kupp suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's win against the Seattle Seahawks, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Kupp sustained the season-ending injury while running a route during the fourth quarter. He was able to walk off the field with assistance from the training staff, but the team had always feared the worst.

"I don't think it's good," Rams coach Sean McVay said after the game, per ESPN. "We'll get the MRI, but it doesn't look good right now."

"He's been a valuable piece of our team and a guy we'll miss," Jared Goff said.

The second-year wide receiver has dealt with a number of injuries throughout the season but it hasn't prevented him from making an impact in the Rams' explosive offense. In eight games, he has caught 40 passes for 566 yards and 6 touchdowns.

The Rams, 9-1, rank second in the NFL in total offense, generating 448 yards per game, trailing only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who rack up 452.8 yards on average. Los Angeles will host the 9-1 Kansas City Chiefs next Monday night in a battle of the NFL's top two teams.
