New Gangsta Gibbs drops tonight.

Freddie Gibbs has remained in the cut over the past year. In 2017, he released his critically acclaimed album, You Only Live 2wice and since then, we've heard a handful of collaborations from him but we haven't heard any solo music from him. Needless to say, everyone's been eagerly waiting for the rapper to drop off a new music. Thankfully, that seems to be the case as the rapper just announced that he has a new project dropping tonight.

Gangsta Gibbs is making his return tonight with a brand new project. The rapper hit Instagram to share a hilarious 80's R&B inspired trailer for his new project titled, Freddie. He did reveal some of the tracklist in the trailer but it looks like it'll be a full length project. However, some of the song titles seem way too outlandish to actually be part of the project like "Bitch You Better Clean Them Sheets" and "Whippin Dope With Tyrone." It doesn't look like Gibbs grabbed many features for the project aside from 03 Greedo for the song, "Death Row." Kenneth Beats also produced a track titled, "Automatic."

Aside from his new projecct, Freddie, fans have been eagerly waiting for his Madlib collaboration, Bandana. Back in November, he told Zane Lowe that the project was "almost done." Hopefully, we end up getting that project before the end of the year.
