Each episode of Red Table Talk is sure to get people talking. As Jada Pinkett Smith and her family members preach positivity on the show, Jada is almost always guaranteed to share some details about her relationship with Will Smith. For some reason, the couple has remained in the headlines for years as people just can't seem to get enough of their union. The most recent edition of the show has Jada, her mother, and Willow Smith speaking about how they keep their body and mind in tip-top shape at all times. Somewhere along the way in their conversation, the concept of wedding anniversaries came up, to which Jada revealed that she and Will no longer celebrate theirs in a traditional manner.
For starters, their anniversary falls on New Year's Eve and Jada explains that on December 31, they both have very different mindsets on how to spend the day. She said, "Usually, Will on New Year’s likes to be in an adventure in the world somewhere. There’s no telling where he’s gonna be. I don’t wanna be out in the world. He now has the freedom [to] go and have an awesome adventure of some kind."
As for Jada herself, she prefers to stay inside on New Year's, cozying up on the couch and just relaxing. Before anybody gets ahead of themselves, the two are not experiencing any sort of difficulty with their marriage. Jada said, "It's more a life partnership, so it's not steeped in that day. We don’t really celebrate that day anymore in that sense, because the context of our union is totally different."
