If you're still not convinced that Tory Lanez is a monster on the microphone, have a listen to his brand new freestyle right now. The Canadian rapper has been slept on for too long and in 2019, he's taking the throne. Last night, he promised his fans a new freestyle and while it took him a few extra hours, he came through in a major way.
After battling with Don Q, Joyner Lucas and a few others, Tory Lanez rebuilt his reputation as somebody you do not want to mess with when it comes to freestyles. Tory released a brand new one just now called "Free 21." Obviously, as the title suggests, the rapper touches on 21 Savage's current situation. The Atlanta figure was arrested last week after it was revealed that he is a British national who overstayed his Visa in the States. Many have addressed 21's arrest on social media but Tory is one of the first to actually drop a song about it. He keeps a rapid-fire flow for nearly three minutes over "A Lot," the hit single from 21 Savage and J. Cole. Much like when he was going up against Joyner Lucas, Tory absolutely bodied this one.
How do you feel about the new freestyle? Did he kill it or are you not impressed?
Quotable Lyrics:
He look at me as I'm rappin' 'bout life in the street and the reason why he in the cage
Only thing different, we both talked about it, but life didn't give back an even exchange
Speakin' of life, my n***a Ike, he doin' three of them thangs
All he ever really wanted was to feed his daughter and get her the key to the Range
Almost stacked himself a milli' in cash, I'm tryna show you n***as he wasn't playin'
He was that n***a you had to go see when you needed a re-up
