T.I. Commemorates 15th Anniversary Of “Trap Muzik" With Vegas Performance

T.I. looks back on his legacy.

T.I. is the King of the South, and his catalog proves it. Besides the numerous albums under T.I.'s belt, the "About the Money" rapper also has a long list of mixtapes. In regards to his albums, Trap Muzik is respected as one of T.I.'s best albums, if not the best one. The ATLien ascended to the throne with anthems like "Rubber Band Man," "24s," and "Be Easy." Trap Muzik also sparked the entire genre of trap rap, a debate that T.I. and Gucci Mane infamously let play out in front of the eager public. It's been 15 years Trap Muzik was released, and T.I. celebrated the milestone with a trip to Vegas. 

T.I. took to the stage at Drai’s Nightclub, at The Cromwell in Las Vegas. He performed several of this Trap Muzik classics to a pack club that knew the words to every single. "No better way to bring in 15 years of #TrapMuzik," wrote T.I. on an Instagram post that features clips of the performance. He also pointed fans to a website where they can purchase anniversary merch, including t-shirts, crop tops, hoodies, and caps. After T.I. was done scorching the stage, he was presented with a plaque to honor the 15 year birthday of his magnum opus.
