When the Coachella lineup was announced late last night, people were so excited that they may not have noticed a major typo in the spelling of one particular artist's name. That or they didn't even realize that there was a typo. If you go through the names of Sunday's performers, you may have noticed "Gucci Gang" was slated to perform. Some fans ignored it and others believed that maybe Lil Pump would be debuting a new group based on his most famous single. After doing some digging, TMZ is reporting that "Gucci Gang" is actually just a major typo on the poster as it is supposed to announce that Gucci Mane will be performing.
This is pretty embarrassing (and hella disrespectful) to say the least. For one of the largest music festivals in the world to flub Guwop's name on the billing is sad. Mistakes do happen though and Gucci has not yet commented on the confusion. Naturally, fans were perplexed as to who was performing in that spot. After going through the performers on Coachella's official website, they noticed that under Gucci Gang, the festival was using photos of the Atlanta icon.
The error has not yet been fixed. Childish Gambino, Ariana Grande, Tame Impala, Kid Cudi and more are set to perform at the 2019 edition of the festival. Are you excited for Gucci Gang Gucci Mane?
