Cardi B is happy that her fans love her new video for "Ring" with Kehlani, she just wishes she would have been told it was coming out. In a post to Instagram Monday, Cardi revealed that she was not informed that the video for her new single would be released today. In fact, she didn't even get to see a final edit before the drop.
"Alright guys, so I'm a little pissed because I woke up this morning and I go on Instagram... I see the "Ring" video came out!" she said. "I'm happy for the response that it's getting, but it's just like, I didn't even get to see final edits for the video. I didn't even know it was supposed to even come out today."
More than anything, Cardi wishes that she could have received a heads up and given the video the proper rollout. "Y'all should have let me know so I could have announced it, promoted it and shit, let my fans know," she said. "I don't even know if it's on YouTube to go look at, but fuck it, I hope y'all enjoy it I guess."
At this point, she's not even sure where to point the blame, but she's not ruling out Russia's involvement. "Sneaky motherfuckers. Who did that? It was those Russians! Those damn Russians that helped Trump!" she joked.
In her next post on Instagram, Cardi decided to make up for lost time and do a little promotion for the clip.
