Cautious Clay is coming off a stellar showing in 2018, having earned notable looks on NPR's Tiny Desk platform and gracing the coveted Insecure soundtrack. He dropped off his Blood Type effort last year as well and as we settle into 2019, Clay is prepping the arrival of his follow-up Table Of Context output.
But just before that arrives, the Brooklyn-bred singer has joined forces with producer Medasin for his latest offering, "HONEST ENOUGH." On it, Cautious Clay's signature delicate delivery interlaces with the LA producer's work behind the boards for a solid cut that points toward something worth anticipating when it comes to Table Of Context.
As we await the project, Cautious Clay is making his rounds as he wraps up a tour through Europe and a few US cities, including NYC and Boston.
Quotable Lyrics
Look how much you livin' for the madness
Somethin' bout the, roses at the end of your mattress
Runnin' through reasons that you thought
Money would stop me
