Rappers Ghostface Killah, Method Man, GZA, RZA, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna, Raekwon, (L-R, seated), Masta Killa and U-God of the Wu-Tang Clan pose at a press conference to announce they have signed with Warner Bros. Records at Warner Bros. Records on October 2, 2014 in Burbank, California.
Logic had the time and patience.

Raekwon and Masta Killa stopped by Beats 1 Radio in New York City to converse with Ebro about their crew's classic album Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). On this day in 1993, the legendary album was released. Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) flipped the rap game on its head, and skyrocketed the members of the crew to superstardom. While Raekwon and Masta Killa spoke with Ebro, they revealed the reason why Logic was able to gather all the members of the Wu-Tang Clan

“It was in the air that this youngster wanted us to be involved with the record,” Raekwon stated. “We was familiar with him and we liked him. We liked what he was about and instantly it was like, ‘Yo, let’s do it,’ and he was able to have the patience to get it because I know he was working on it for a second. And at the same time too, if you working, you working."

“He was able to reach out and one thing led to another and the next thing you know," continued Raekwon. "He even got one of the top MCs in the neighborhood that we looked up to on the track too. It was like, ‘Wow, you even went and got Scotty Wotty. Why he on there?’ How’d that happen? But it happened.”

"The timing as well, you know what I’m saying, to get it done because I remember Drake also reached out for us to get the same," added Masta Killa. "He wanted everybody. He even dedicated a song for Wu-Tang or whatever. But Logic was blessed to, I guess, the right timing and then he got it done.” Peep the conversation at the 13:45 mark.
