There's a brand new Carmelo Anthony-inspired Air Jordan 13 hitting retailers this Saturday, September 15, but they won't be available in men's sizes.
It was announced today that the Air Jordan 13 "Class of 2002" will still be releasing in grade school and pre-school sizes, but the men's pairs have been pulled from Nike's SNKRS launch page as well as major retailers like Foot Locker, Finish Line and Champs Sports. Sole Collector reports a "minor cosmetic flaw" caused the brand to pull men's and toddler sizes from retailers.
The kicks, part of Jordan Brand's "Back To School" collection, celebrate Melo's time playing for the storied Oak Hill Academy as a teenager. The unique 13s feature a black and gold color scheme with red accents, built on a combination of leather, nylon and suede. Additionally, the 13s include special detailing such as "Class of 2002" text and Melo's logo on the right insole.
