Even as an Xbox player myself, it's hard to argue against PlayStation's catalog of games. Sony's gaming console has a very lengthy catalog of amazing titles that are either exclusive on their system, or feature exclusives in-game that can only be acquired from playing the PlayStation version. While we do have Halo and Gears of War holding down the Xbox exclusives, PlayStation games like God of War or Uncharted: Drake's Fortune absolutely smash the competition. Now, Sony is gearing up to relaunch their PlayStation Hits series, which will bring classic games back for just $20.
Not all of the entries in the new PlayStation Hits series are exclusive titles. EA's war shooter Battlefield 4 and the traditional gunner Doom will also be included. A remastered version of The Last of Us will certainly be a favorite among gamers, while Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience will draw players back into the world of Snake. The entire list of games that will be included in the revamped PlayStation Hits series are: Battlefield 4, Bloodborne, Doom, DriveClub, Infamous: Second Son, Killzone: Shadow Fall, The Last of Us Remastered, LittleBigPlanet 3, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience, Project CARS, Ratchet & Clank, Street Fighter 5, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Yakuza 0, and Yakuza Kiwami. The re-released titles will be available on June 28 in Canada and the US.
