Since he got locked up on racketeering charges, the hip-hop community has been fascinated with how Tekashi 6ix9ine's fate will turn out. Earlier today, it was reported that his 2015 child sex case was officially dropped as he hopes for similar good news in September 2019 when he's set to go on trial. One of the most prominent features on his album, Tory Lanez, spoke about the colorful-haired rapper in a recent interview, comparing his album rollout to Tupac. He noted that both 6ix9ine and Pac dropped huge projects from behind bars. Many have taken the comments to heart, including The Game who is telling everyone to stop comparing people to Tupac.
Tory already defended himself on Twitter, clarifying that he wasn't actually comparing the two artists, just their album rollouts. The Game recorded himself speaking on the issue and said that nobody is comparable to the legend. In a since-deleted post, Tory responding by playing Destiny's Child's "Say My Name," asking Game to "stop the subliminals." Perhaps the two have talked it out at this point because the posts have disappeared from their personal pages.
In all fairness, the Tupac comparisons are getting old. They should have stopped after Lil Xan was buried by his critics. What's your take? Swipe right below to see the since-deleted response.
