The San Fernando Valley home of Los Angeles Chargers tight end Antonio Gates was reportedly broken into over the weekend while he and his wife Sasha's two kids were inside.
According to reports, surveillance cameras at the Gates' home captured several suspects scaling a gate before targeting the future Hall of Famer's garage. The suspects reportedly fumbled through his luxurious vehicles, including a Rolls-Royce, and stole a number of items such as a hover board that belonged to one of the kids.
Because of the way the thieves made a beeline for the garage, sources connected to the investigation believe that the men may have cased the property before they struck because they knew exactly where to head once they got onto his property. Thankfully, the kids were inside the house and never came into contact with the burglars during the incident.
Gates, 38, has played for the Chargers since entering the league in 2013.
