Young Money has been an integral part of hip-hop since the mid-2000's. With Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj all performing under the label at the same time, the group was stacked with talent, consistently dropping off hits for the masses to enjoy. With Wayne's lawsuit against Cash Money now settled, Tha Carter V may be on the horizon as a release seems more realistic now than it ever has. In just over a week's time, a new Drake album will be upon us with Nicki Minaj's Queen joining it on the shelves in August. Sharing a photo of himself with Weezy in the studio, Mack Maine teased a big summer for the clique, hinting at some incoming heat from Tunechi.
June and August are already accounted for but July does not have a major Young Money release as of yet. Could Lil Wayne be plotting to take up some room there? The President of Young Money Entertainment, Mack Maine, posted an image of Weezy whispering something in his ear and he's revealed exactly what the star had told him. "Tune tellin me lets get back to what we know and how itβs bout to be a Mula summer ya heard me!!! Lead off hitter @champagnepapi Scorpion June 29th π₯π₯π₯πͺπΎπͺπΎπͺπΎ #Mula," captioned Maine. As the first at-bat, Drake could very well knock it out of the park with Scorpion but from the looks of it, he should leave some room for Wayne and Nicki because there's space for everybody to have some fun in a "Mula summer."
What do you think Tunechi has planned for the year? Now that's he appears to be off the Cash Money books, could we see his long-awaited Carter V finally drop in the next few months?
