There seems to be an even number of people who are for the new Kanye and those who miss the old Kanye. His rapid number of tweets may shift the balance every day, but despite either side, GoldLink has made quite the case for those who are against Ye right now. Taking to Instagram, the "Crew" rapper has made a number of stories defending Ye and his "vision" and how "it happens exactly how he says it."
"How everybody is responding to Kanye right now is just a testament to how the world treats someone who thinks differently," he writes in his first story. "He's taken us forward so many times and we've almost forgotten about that. He says things that seem crazy at the time (everyone hates him and calls him crazy) then it happens exactly how he says it."
The Washington born rapper lets it be known that he doesn't think Kanye is a "genius," but gets how it's hard to be understood when people can't see what you see. "History repeats itself and this is nothing new. they love you then they hate you then they love you again."
