After selling his stake of ownership in the Brooklyn Nets just last week, Jay-Z is already working on his next move in the sports industry. Its being reported that Hov and his Roc Nation Sports agency are interested in signing NHL prospect, Seth Jones.
According to the New York Post, Hov is interested in signing NHL prospect Seth Jones, whose father is former NBA player Popeye Jones. Seth is projected to be the #1 draft pick in the 2013 NHL draft. The young phenom is already signed to CAA, the company that partnered with Jay-Z earlier this month, and it's believed that Jones is already interested in Roc Nation too. A source told the New York Post,
"When Seth comes to the NHL Draft [in Newark, NJ] in June, his family, agents at CAA, and Roc Nation are going to have a powwow to see if he'll sign with them."
The waiting game will be played until June to find out what happens, but if Hov can sign the young prospect, it will be a great look for all.
