Last year, metal band Cradle of Filth dragged Kanye West for wearing one of their t-shirts. It has become a trend for non-headbangers to rock metal gear, which has angered fans within the hard rock community. This time around, the group has lightened up their stance as they are now claiming that "any publicity is good publicity."
Iggy Azalea is getting attacked online, which is something she ought to be used to at this point, for rocking a pretty offensive t-shirt to some people. Metal band Cradle of Filth introduced some merch that says "Jesus is a c**t" and Iggy seems to rock with the aesthetic. On New Year's Eve, she posted a photo of herself in the shirt but the distasteful message isn't even displayed. However, those who recognized the merch were quick to point out what she was repping.
The garment itself has "Jesus is a c**t" printed on the back while the front of the tee shows a nun pleasuring herself.
From the looks of things, the metal t-shirt trend will continue into 2019 much to the dismay of Megadeth and Metallica fans worldwide. What do you think of Iggy's questionable choice? At least she was polite enough to crop out the offensive bits.
