The Boston Celtics visited Boston Children's Hospital on Tuesday night to help some of the young patients get into the Holiday spirit. During their time at the hospital, which included singing Christmas carols, a young fan named Yash got into a basketball debate with former Duke Blue Devil, Kyrie Irving.
As seen in the video below, the passionate hoops fan trolled Kyrie about Gonzaga's recent 89-87 victory against the powerful Dukies at the Maui Invitational.
Irving of course spent one season at Duke, although he was limited to just eight games, before being selected #1 overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2011 NBA Draft. The Blue Devils, currently ranked #3 in the nation, are heavy favorites to win the National title this season thanks to a star-studded freshman class that includes Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish - all of whom could feasibly be selected 1, 2 & 3 in the 2019 Draft.
In addition to debating hoops and singing Christmas carols with the kids, Kyrie also hooked up Yash with an exclusive, 1-of-1 colorway of the Nike Kyrie 4. Check out more footage from the Celtics' awesome visit to the Boston Children's Hospital in the videos embedded below.
