21 Savage may be reeling from a recent heartbreak, should the rumors indeed be true, but that doesn't mean he's out there taking L's. In fact, the Atlanta rapper has never been more commercially viable. Case in point, the steadily rising numbers of his infectious "Bank Account" single. Emerging as one of Issa Album's standout cuts, the Metro Boomin & 21 Savage produced, Tomi Lahren approved banger has captivated the hearts of the masses. So much so that the single has recently been certified 3X platinum by the RIAA.
It's a big departure from the Savage Mode days. Now, the mysteriously monotone rapper has become something of a pop culture icon, appearing alongside bonafide mainstream superstars like Cardi B and Post Malone. As of now, "Bank Account" stands as 21's biggest solo hit to date, and proves once and for all that he has lasting appeal beyond the occasional feature. Congrats to 21 for this one!
As for new music, it's hard to say whether or not Savage will be making an appearance this year. So far, he's been lying low. Still, it wouldn't be surprising to see him come through with his own variant of 808s & Heartbreaks, given the recent circumstances of his high profile relationship with Amber Rose.
