Trippie Redd also has two new songs coming this week.

It's been quite the year for Trippie Redd. The "Dark Knight Gummo" artist reached another level of success within the past few months. While he's also dealt with his fair share of controversy, he's built the hype up for his debut album. Fans have eagerly awaited the arrival for the project although he's yet to set a release date for it. However, the rapper hit Instagram up earlier today to share an update on the album.

Trippie Redd is gearing up to have a major summer ahead of him. The rapper hit Instagram to reveal that his debut album will be arriving this July. In addition, he also announced that he has two new songs dropping this Friday. Redd's teased a lot of new music in the past few months including a song seems to be inspired by Kurt Cobain and another joint that shows off his lyrical side.

Although he's yet to reveal the tracklist to the album, he did reveal that Erykah Badu would be on the album in a recent interview with us. He hasn't revealed any other features on the project but he seemed to build a strong relationship with some of the major players in the game. He's worked with Lil Wayne in the past and was supposed to be featured on Drake's "God's Plan."
