"Well, that's good,"

Ariana Grande's current and past boyfriend have always been, whether you like it or not, a news topic that people can't get enough of. She was likely aware of this when she made her latest song "Thank U, Next," which mentions four of her exes explicitly, looking back on the relationships she shared and thanking them for the "love," "patience" and "pain," but also feeling glad to have moved on to someone new: herself. The first verse:

Thought I'd end up with Sean
But he wasn't a match
Wrote some songs about Ricky
Now I listen and laugh
Even almost got married
And for Pete, I'm so thankful
Wish I could say, "Thank you" to Malcolm
'Cause he was an angel

One of her other exes was not mentioned: Nathan Sykes who Grande date in 2013 and is part of a boy band called The Wanted (who had a reality show called The Wanted Life). Apparently, he's a solo artist now and judging by his 1.59 million twitter followers he's doing alright for himself. TMZ cornered him in LAX and asked how he felt about being left out of the song. He says he's not bitter: “I think if people are releasing good music and they’re happy with the music they’re releasing, I think that’s great.” That's great. One thing he is bitter about is being reported on as the ex-boyfriend and not "talented singer songwriter," which he says "doesn't get many clicks, unfortunately." That's true, can't help you with that one, Nathan!
