Well, this is a nice way to start off the day! Usher has been teasing new music for the last little while, posing for photos in the studio and offering up a few hints of an upcoming project. However, we had no clue it would be coming this soon. The legendary singer's most recent album Hard II Love was his least commercially-successful LP to date and he's coming back with full force, teaming up with Zaytoven for a brand new album tonight.
As recently as a few days ago, Ursh was posted up with Jay-Z in the studio and while a list of guest features has not been revealed, there's a possibility that we now know what the two were working on. Usher just announced his upcoming album A is dropping at midnight tonight. The two may have been crafting something else altogether but the timing hopefully isn't just coincidental.
The artist shared an official trailer, previewing a few of the songs that we can expect on the project. Alongside the album cover, which appears to be inspired by (or designed by) Virgil Abloh, a tracklist was shared on the artist's Instagram. A releases at midnight tonight. Are you looking forward to some new Usher?
