Could Hamm be the next Dark Knight?

Jon Hamm may be known for his role in Mad Men, but the skilled actor may be looking to take his talents to a much higher platform. On In Depth with Graham Bensinger, Hamm revealed that he has been a comic book fan since he was a child and that he's seen the internet's combined plea to place him in the role of Batman. "I think the internet wants what it wants" stated Hamm while also claiming no executives have ever approached him for the role.

"It depends on the script, what the story is," he continued. "I am a huge comic book fan, always have been. I've read comic books since I was nine or younger. And I'm pretty knowledgeable about a lot of them. And I like the genre, and I like when they're done well. I saw Black Panther, I was like 'this movie's great." Hamm also admits that he doesn't like to work out, but he understands that he'd need to get in shape for the role.

"I'd probably fit the suit. I'd have to work out a lot, which I don't love," Hamm joked. "I am sure there's an interesting version of that being out there. And if they wanted to tap me on the shoulder and ask me to do it, why not?"
