After taking a year's hiatus, the Washington, D.C. music festival, Trillectro, is making it's grand return, with an all-star line-up that's sure to impress any modern hip-hop fan.
Headlining the event is none other than SZA, who just recently revealed that her damaged vocal chords are not as bad as they initially seemed, and that she should make a full recovery, in time. It seems as though she's very confident in her ability to overcome her injury, as she doesn't have a whole lot of time to recover before the festival begins in September. This also makes SZA the first woman to ever headline the Trillectro festival.
Also headlining the event is 2 Chainz. He's been readying his next album, Rap Or Go To The League, and just recently dropped a massive track with Drake and Quavo, titled "Bigger Than You." Expect him to likely perform this track, and hopefully more of his upcoming album, presuming that he plans to drop it sometime this summer.
Additional acts include Young Thug (who's preparing a new project of his own), Playboi Carti, The Internet, Smokepurpp, Rico Nasty, Maxo Kream, and Sheck Wes. DJ Carnage will also be acting as a special guest for the event.
The festival is set to take place on September 22nd, in the Merriweather Post Pavilion. Pre-sale for the event starts on Thursday, so if you're in the area in September you might want to take the initiative and secure your spot. You can check out the whole Trillectro lineup down below.
