Having set to perform for Chicago's WGCI Morning Riot anniversary party on April 4th, Kirko Bangz called up the radio station today for a quick chat about his new single, making the XXL Freshmen list, and not being a part of Houston's "I Been On" remix.
During his chat with WGCI's DJ MoonDawg and DJ A-Oh, Kirko talked about his upcoming single that will be dropping next week and mentioned it will have some big name features on it. He states that it will be a hot record and that it will put him back on. All this in preparation for his anticipated debut album, Bigger Than Me, which is set to be released this Summer. He then quickly talked about making this years cover for XXL Magazine's Freshmen Class.
Earlier today, some of Houston's finest teamed up for a remix to Beyonce's "I Been On" track. Those artists being Bun B, Slim Thug, Z-Ro, Scarface, Willie D, & Lil Keke. Kirko not being a part of that list, was asked about the situation and says the track was weak. He also went on to say that he felt disrespected for not being included.
