If you're a fan of horror films, you're in for an exciting month. You've probably already gotten a start on your October screening parties as you prepare for Halloween but, much like every single year around this time, we're receiving news of some upcoming flicks that are sure to be included in your future fright nights. A remake of Pet Sematary was announced a while ago but we're seeing the first trailer for the new movie today. In case you have animals at home, you may want to shoo them out of the room before you watch this.
The classic Stephen King novel is being readapted for a 2019 release and it looks like a must-see for fans of the genre. Right off the bat, we're met with the familiar words "Sometimes dead is better" on the screen as we head into some quick shots of the action. As expected with any thrilling trailer, we've got some jump scares as the camera explores the forest surroundings. Then, things get creepy as shots of children walking through the woods with animal masks and crosses haunt the screen.
Pet Sematary is scheduled for a theatrical release in April 2019. Check out the eerie new trailer and let us know if you're looking forward to it.
