KRS-One may or may not have lost his discernible touch as modern day rapper, but if Dr. Dre offers you the house slippers, you know you've done something right. The legendary producer did just, offering fellow hip hop legend KRS-One his pick of beats in specially curated catalog. The South Bronx legend recounted the event on Twitter, whilst also shouting out Anderson .Paak who was also likely in attendance.
In the event of Paak showing up with a non-vegetarian menu option, upon Dre's request of "studio" snacks, I'd like to think KRS-One suppressed his anger towards meat-eaters for just a second, enough to restrain himself from cracking a goose egg over somebody's head.
KRS's Twitter post was subsequently re-posted, giving it all the credence it may have lacked without a photographic evidence. Then again, it's not inconceivable to think Dre would sell KRS a beat from his catalog, he'd probably even consider giving him the legend's discount.
