Kanye West and Kid Cudi performed together at a private party in L.A. Thursday night. As HighSnobiety reports, the event was held for creative director Willo Perron, who has previously worked with West on projects including YEEZY Season 4. It reportedly took place at Los Candiles Night Club. Only a few clips have surfaced online, showing the two performing their collaborations "Ghost Town" from Ye and "Father Stretch My Hand Pt. 1" from The Life Of Pablo, as well as Kanye's solo Graduation cut "Can't Tell Me Nothing." It appears that no songs from their joint album Kids See Ghosts were performed.
The set comes just after Kanye and Cudi were announced as headliners for Tyler, The Creator's annual Camp Flog Gnaw festival, billed as Kids See Ghosts. So far, it is the only official live performance booked by Kanye following his May-June run of releases. Set for November 10th and 11th , there's still plenty of time for West to announce a tour in the meantime.
At the time of the listening parties, there was some casual talk of taking all the artists involved in the Wyoming session on one mega-tour, but we've yet to hear any more about it. In case you forgot, the 5-album streak featured 7-8 track albums from Pusha T, Kanye, Kids See Ghosts, Nas, and Teyana Taylor. Read our ranking of the Kanye-produced releases here.
