Well here’s some good news for JMSN fans. The multi-talented Detroit producer/singer/musician is getting ready to treat fans to a new album. On Monday, JMSN hopped on Twitter and informed fans that he’s dropping a new album this September called Velvet.
“The New Album will be called 'Velvet' and it's out in September. Artwork and Tracklist to come later,” he tweeted out Monday night. While we’re still three months away from hearing the album, JMSN did give fans a little taste of what’s to come by dropping off the lead single to hold us over in the meantime called “Talk Is Cheap,” which you can listen to right here.
Velvet will serve as the follow up to last year’s Whatever Makes U Happy project. Some fans thought we were going to get the album last week when Google put JMSN’s name on another random project, but the Detroit singer quickly cleared the air on Friday, denouncing the album release and letting fans down easy. “Guys there is no new album today sorry the assholes at google fucked some shit up and they put my name on some randoms album,” he tweeted out, but he definitely just made up for it today.
