On Monday, hip-hop lost one of its brightest and most talented young artists when XXXTentacion was senselessly gunned down in his vehicle right outside Miami. According to TMZ, police say that the suspects were “black males wearing hoodies” and that the “shooter was wearing a red mask.”
Since the description was revealed, fans have been online putting their detective hats on and trying to figure out who the culprits were, and many believe it’s local rappers Soldier Kidd and Soldier Jojo. The two have been sharing various photos on social media, one of which shows them with a red mask in their car, and another which indicated that they were minutes away from X’s location, with a gun in tow.
Soldier Kidd posted a “Boomerang” photo on his Instagram Monday, which showed that he had picked up food from a nearby eatery in Deerfield Beach, not too far from where XXX was shot. Soldier Kidd tagged Hook Fish and Chicken, which happened to be just 6-8 minutes away from the motorcycle shop X was at prior to getting shot at. When you pause the boomerang photo, you can see the two had a gun with them at the restaurant as well.
Well since these rumors were starting to pick up, the Florida rapper decided to hop on social media and address the allegations. Of course he denied having any part of X’s death, but the evidence is pretty telling if indeed true.
“Man we all got love for the Florida nigga. I got love for Broward. I don't even know who the man was. We out here handling business. We out here getting money bro. We aint go no time for none of this shit that’s going on. But listen, all my condolences go to the man’s family and what not,” Soldier said. “I ain’t have nothing to do with it.”
