It's officially been a week since J. Cole released K.O.D and thusfar, it's one of the strongest rap albums to drop in 2018. It showcased an evolution in his sound and artistry while touching on some important subjects. The rapper's already broken first day streaming records on both Spotify and Apple Music. However, it looks like he's on pace to shatter the overall streaming record this year.

J. Cole's latest project is on pace to have the biggest streaming week for an album in 2018, Billboard reports. In addition, it's looking like it'l also have the third biggest streaming week in history. This comes as no surprise as it's already slated to debut at number one on the Billboard 200. Their industry forecaster say that the album could accumulate 320 million on-demand audio streams by the end of April 26th. If these end up being the actual numbers, it'll sit behind Kendrick Lamar's DAMN. and Drake's More Life

In addition to the mega streaming numbers, he's also expected to move anywhere between 375K to 385K equivalent album units by the end of today.

Cole's new album is already on pace to surpass Justin Timberlake's latest album for the biggest streaming week of the year. In addition, it's also possible that it'll have the biggest streaming week for any album since Taylor Swift's latest project, Reputation.
