According to sources close to Sean Don, the Detroit rapper will be making his way back home to perform a free event outside Michigan Central Depot on Tuesday, The Detroit News reports. The event is brought together by Ford Motor Co. who plans on turning the former train station into a campus filled with restaurants, retail spaces, coffee shops and markets.
Big Sean's performance will be part celebration and part press conference as he's set to say a few words of his communities plans. The publication notes how the event will be free, but if you're looking to get as close as possible to Big Sean you're asked to register online to secure a spot inside the gated area.
Big Sean will be in his hometown for a while as he's planned a few days of back-to-back events. "This month I'm bossin up and giving back to the city that gave me so much! Detroit, June 21st - 25th I'm doing the 1st ever DON weekend and going all weekend with events for us all to come together on!" he said on Twitter.
