There's a double-standard at play.

Kanye West's plans to meet with President Donald Trump this week is causing a buzz among many different groups. While the rapper has expressed support for the president, he still advocates for some changes including a reconciliation between Trump and Colin Capernick. The news coverage of the upcoming lunch at the White House is somewhat surprising, being well received by the conservative Fox News.

Jimmy Kimmel mocked the whole ordeal on his show last night.

"On Thursday, the doors of the White House will open to welcome none other than Kanye West. President of the United States is having lunch with Kanye. Now there’s a Devil’s Triangle for ya. Am I only one who would buy that lunch on pay-per-view? I would love to see what they talk about."

The comedian jokes about the meeting's topics of choice being, "prison reform, gang violence and how good it feels to unload like a maniac of twitter." He says he wonders why Yeezy likes Trump in the first place, taking aim at the unlikely duo, "Then I saw a picture of him with Kim and it hit me: Kanye likes a big ass."

Kimmel brought the double-standard at play, considering how Fox had portrayed former President Barrack Obama's inviting Common to the White House. Fox News anchor Sean Hannity had claimed the idea to be a bad "message for our kids." When it comes to the Trump-Kanye meetup, Hannity expresses an opposite opinion.

"Kanye West takes a stand for freedom of thought and freedom of expression, we should all support this."

Jimmy pokes fun at the complete switch-up.

"Good for Sean. He's evolving, he really is."
