Fijimacintosh personal backstory is stranger than fiction. The 17h-year old Canton, Ohio native grew up on the same block as Marilyn Manson, but that in itself doesn't explain the weird compression of ideas, from which he operates. He's no different than his first cousin Trippie Redd, in his fixation with the perils of darkness. But every now and then Fiji fools you with the melodic trappings of a folk singer. The Neil Young vinyls served him well, but to what end, I couldn't tell you off-hand?
Fijimacintosh's new Teenage Disillusionment has been described those in his close circumference, as a project born out of taut determinism. Teenage Disillusionment hit "stores" this past Friday courtesy of EMPIRE records. It features contributions from producer Deko, as well as IDK, and A1billionaire, himself a close affiliate of Trippie Redd. Give 'er a try.
